About Me
Trained in the history of philosophy, I'm still recovering. I work in conflict and post conflict countries, which involves setting up emergency aid programs in different sectors, running them, or evaluating them. I work for the usual suspects: UN agencies, int'l donors and governments (USAID, DFID, etc), world bank, INGOs, think tanks and policy shops, etc. I also write a monthly column for 3quarksdaily.com, help run PRISM Partnerships, a micro-philanthropy group based in Nairobi, and serve on the board of Ancestral Knowledge, a DC non-profit fighting 'nature deficit disorder' among urban youth.
